While it is still too chilly and windy to do anything much, and rain is on the way, I’ve been browsing through past photos and converting them to b&w. Meanwhile, the studio is looking good!

Underneath
With cold and wind and rain, I have had little desire to get out. Throw in some holiday festivities and baking and celebrating, and you have even more excuses. Today, I plan on re-organizing the studio in preparation for the upcoming New Year.
Grasses
If you know anything about the Olympus XA4 camera, you know that it has a strap which helps measure distances for close-up shot. I used the shortest distance strap, set the distance on the camera, and here we are! Lomo 100 film, Pakon 135 scanner, Olympus XA4, autumn morning . . .
Impression
Another film image from the 1930s Voigtlander Bessa Rangefinder, using Fuji Pro 400H film. There is an Impressionist painting which keeps flitting across my mind every time I look at this picture – hence the title. I think it is a picture by Renoir, of a lady in a white dress looking around a tree in dappled sunlight . . . .
The Fourth of Four
This was my favorite of all the pictures I took. I wonder if he is a sparrow, like two of the others were. I’ve posted this picture on flickr, and soon we may know!
