With unusual weather throughout the world, and a lot of rain, I was lucky to be in L.A. visiting a friend. Â We made a deliberate trip to Lake Balboa to walk around and check out the cherry blossoms. Â We were not disappointed. Â Some of the trees were just coming into bloom, others were in full glory.

A morning spent – well spent – in one of my favorite places in L.A.: Â The Huntington Gardens. Â Spring is in evidence everywhere, flowers and trees in bloom, and everyone out enjoying a cold, sunny day after days of rain.
