This is a panorama outside the cemetery in DeSmet, SD, in the midmorning. Soft skies with low clouds, a light misting rain. Beautiful countryside.
Catching the Light
Canyon
A composite taken from multiple views – looking straight down into a canyon, as well as panning from side to side. Â The result is a rather distorted view, and does nothing to convey the sense of depth I wanted to capture. Â At the lower margin of the picture is the bottom of the canyon with two trails on either side of the creek. Â From there, up the walls of the canyon.
