Canyon

A composite taken from multiple views – looking straight down into a canyon, as well as panning from side to side. The result is a rather distorted view, and does nothing to convey the sense of depth I wanted to capture. At the lower margin of the picture is the bottom of the canyon with two trails on either side of the creek. From there, up the walls of the canyon.

Wish You Were Here

I used to collect post cards when I was a kid. Landscapes with bright colors always caught my eye . . . they still do! This is from my walk today – a pano pushed and pulled until I liked it.

Along the Trail

This is another panorama taken the same evening as the preceding one. This is a series of 3 panoramas, each bracketed for -2, 0, +2 exposure. There were then merged as one image in NIK HDR Pro 2, and trimmed. The “fill” function of CS6 was used to complete the upper left, lower left, and lower right corners.
