I am not done with this painting yet. I think I want to do something with the bee . . . but I’ll wait a bit to see what I think. I find scanning my work really brings a fresh eye to it – easier to critique when on the monitor than when it’s on the table.

Moving along, I like your color choices. I do the same, getting some distance always helps.
Thanks, Sharon. I hope to finish tonight or tomorrow morning. I’m thinking darer near the light stuff, another highlight in the area of the eyes. I’ve lightened a bit behind the eyes already. Stay tuned!
