Ghost Room

Looking through a window to take a picture is always interesting. Reflections show up as well as the subject matter inside. Here, a classroom empty during the winter break.

Nikon FM3a, Nikon 50mm f1.2 AI-S, Kodak Tri-X 400.

I am not at all inspired to do photography and I am hoping this project – which so far seems pretty sad – might motivate me. The nice thing is that both my Fuji X100V and my cell phone connect to the Instax SP3 printer via bluetooth or whatever. As a result, I am now more inclined to take a camera with me when out and about, which is not much these days in the Land of Pandemia.

I’m in hiding these days – lurking at the window, hoping not to be seen . . .

Through the Window

Before I got the idea of having the DH print a flash cover for the Instax Wide 300, I took a picture of the studio. With flash, everything in the foreground was visible and the picture was rubbish. It had that classic flash-look so common in photos of yore. So, I covered the flash with my hand as I took the picture. The evidence of not needing the flash all the time is evident here.

Someone sez I should get the Lomo wide . . . 😉

These are LED lamps on the table which sits in front of the studio window. Ortho Plus 80 again! I do like this film!
