Here Ya Go
I went to the local park that has a small lake in it, all with the intent to try to capture birds with the V1 and the 70-300mm lens. The lake had a fence around it, and the egrets that nest in the trees were not to be seen. Waterfowl of various waddling varieties were out, as were a flock of pigeons, but I didn’t get too much I liked. People, though, were fun!

A Heavenly Spot
I read a story years ago, when I was a kid, about a girl named Katie John. She got a puppy with a white tip on its tail. She called him “Heavenly Spot” – “Spot” for short. Going through some pictures from 2011, I came across this picture of our friends’ dog romping in the field. Certainly must have been heaven for this girl!
