1 / 365: Corner Between the Windows

1-corner

Nothing like cleaning house and thinking about corners.  I looked up here and realized I had never noticed the crack in the plaster, nor the little indentation toward the shelving above.  I expect I will find all sorts of weird things as I look at corners.

The Birds

Today I cleaned up this blog a bit, and in doing so created pages for each month of the years I’ve been doing this . . . over four years.  In July of this year, I was not in a good mood about photography or what I was doing.  My ego was quite into it, in a bad way.  Burn out is not a good thing.  While rummaging through things, I came across this picture from February 2014.  I rather like it, though it is better suited for Halloween than Thanksgiving!

Fallen

Fallen

Another image from the roaming of a year ago.  I put off developing the images because I thought I would do it – that is, developing my own black and white.  I found I like the sense of accomplishment – but I don’t like the stress – of home developing.  So, I had them done in a lab which accommodates each type of film.

Kentmere seems to be a pretty nice film, and it is reasonably priced.  I have more true b&w I want to use and process, such as Ilford Delta 100 and Fuji Acros 100.
