Where I live, trees are not really tall – the climate is too dry. The Olympic Peninsula is lush and green, with soaring trees and abundant undergrowth. Somehow, all the greenery and water feel rather illegal . . .


This was a really hard picture to get! There was haze over the city which blocked the moon lower in the horizon. By the time it was high enough to see, it was very dark. Out of all the ones I did, this one worked out the best in post. All the others were too grainy. I really wish I could have all the details of the moons surface, but one sacrifice leads to something else . . . Taken from Bainbridge Island, Seattle is 3 miles away.
