It’s Autumn, cold and chill this week after temps in the 100s F. Ugh. The damp and fog are very welcome. As far as which fits the season of Halloween best, what do you think? Color or B&W?

Good Daisy to You!

Been busy with other things … but here are some daisies using Fuji Velvia 100.

I always liked the name of “daisy” – it means “day’s eye” – and these bright yellow ones certainly do cheer up the landscape.

Freesias

I have a small batch of ever-expanding freesias in my front yard. Every spring, there they are. Using Velvia 100 slide film, these are the results. Today, the flowers are gone, but their leaves remain behind, returning the nutrients to the bulbs for next year.

Fallen Over, or “E+J”

From the perspective of this image, it is not really possible to see what this tree looks like. Eucalyptus trees tend to grow straight up . . . somehow, sometime, this one toppled over and continued to grow. “E+J” were here, rather than Kilroy. BTW, this is a pano of about 8 images.
