Winter Light

Somehow I think Cathy and Heathcliff might have enjoyed wandering around here – it certainly is bleak enough, more so in winter. Such barren, stark hills always appeal to me.

More issues with depth. Sigh.

  1. Good observation. The reddish brown patch sort of in the distance is supposed to be what your eye goes to. It works pretty well with the real painting but color in scans can be very different. I try not to play with it too much for paintings, but you are (hahaha) spot on!
