This is me every morning: Medusa with her head of snakes. Hopefully I won’t exit this incarnation with beheading, and I will definitely steer clear of men named Perseus.
A professional haircut is out of the question for now. I won’t even attempt to trim it myself. Josh says he won’t touch it. I guess I’ll ride it out and pin it up in the meantime.
Luckily, I don’t go out much in public much these days – certainly not looking like this – but I do have a nice array of hats should I need one.

Fortunately, I ran to my friend’s house (she cuts my hair) and got a hair cut. I know this won’t be over before I need it cut again! If that’s the worst of our worries, we are lucky!
Anne – I agree. Besides, I don’t have anywhere I have to be!
You have curls! Nice! Consider working with them instead of fighting them. Although I must point out that a successful curly haircut involves a haircutter. 😦
That looks ouch to brush!
Oh, I agree with you on a good haircutter! I have it cut dry, which helps, as curly hair (and my hair varies in curliness) , and it is a rat’s nest in the morning.
It is a nuisance, Fraggy, let me tell you. I have to brush it out 2-3 times a day. If I don’t, I get mats, just like the dog. Once one was so bad after being ill, and too tired to brush it, I just chopped off all my hair.
eeeek!
LOL, Fraggy!
I’m vain about my hair; always have been. Even if nobody sees me in a day, I still fix it up in the morning.
I am skipping tucking in my shirts during isolation, though. At work, they can only see me from the chest up on Zoom.
So funny! My hair has always been a mess – it sticks out all over the place. My sister always said I looked like a dandelion gone to seed, and more so now that I am grey. Maybe I’ll post a selfie with my hair brushed out but not tidied! Meanwhile, just make sure you wear pants to work for those zoom meetings. My husband doesn’t have to do that for work meetings, so he is often in his bathrobe and looks very disreputable for a bank VP!
I think your hair looks fun and carefree, but sometimes when I need a haircut, it just feels icky. I picked up a few hair products and items to pull mine back on the sides until we are able to get out again. However, I am really tempted to trim my bangs. 🤔 Stay well!
