Take a dog. Take a turn. Trip over dog. Fall forward. Fall onto your back after hitting the sewing table with your right hand.
Probable broken middle finger on right hand and a broken right wrist, per the local urgent care, but best go see a hand specialist Monday or so, to confirm or deny.
I am right-handed.
Happy Easter!

Three days into a ten-day vacation?? And of course, your able hand! I am so sorry!
I’m sure the dog is sorry, too. 😦 Best wishes for recovery!
Thanks, Kathy. I am still alive, and so is the pooch!
I broke my right arm in the middle of an art degree. I made some interesting drawings with my untutored left hand and my handwriting was idiosyncratic. A speedy recovery.
Ouch 😦 hope it gets better soon.
Thanks, Graham. It is interesting how creative life becomes when your normal routines are no longer normal. Thanks for the wishes!
Ouch, indeed! This morning I still hurt, but am considerably less dazed. Thanks for the thoughts!
We left-handers do a lot of things with our less-able (right) hands. We have to; many objects are designed for the convenience of the majority. In theory, it means I use both sides of my brain more effectively than most right-handed people. So perhaps this will be a learning experience of some value. Just trying to find a silver lining in this cloud!
You got that right!
Dang dog!
We have two massive Maine Coon cats constantly underfoot, so in our house it’s “Dang cat!” And it doesn’t matter what it is, even if neither of them is remotely close to being around, it’s still their fault (not that either of them have a clue as to what they’re being blamed for)… 😀
Hope everything heals well and in a timely fashion for you.
Too funny! We always blame missing objects on the long-gone cats. “The cats took it.” Problem solved!
Thanks for the thoughts – things are moving along nicely.
