Thanks! I didn’t really consider the mussels as adding “pop” – in fact, I’ve been rather iffy about the picture. I reworked it a bit differently than in the past, using a different software, and that little bit did make it work. Glad you liked it!
I agree with lauracooper, the color contrast between the mussels and the overall scene is beautiful!
Thanks! The day I took the picture was very grey, and the beach itself was very tan. Hard to work with those colors – or the lack of variety in color. I appreciate the comments from both of you.
