My computer blew up! Well, not quite, but it sure got itself fried. The main CPU went. I went shopping. Just now getting everything settled in where I want it. Played a bit while things installed themselves, and in between tweaking the new beast.

BAM! There’s nothing as simultaneously terrifying and thrilling as needing to get a new computer. I hope you didn’t lose anything, and that the new one is powerful and fun. 🙂
Thanks, Lori. Nothing lost at all – the motherboard just had a lot of obvious errors happening, with old and new memory installs. The HDs were fine. Put the primary one in as secondary, got it up and running, and now just have to get the data from the 3rd and 4th to verify nothing lost there. New computer is much faster, with more memory. Interestingly, I was thinking it was not acting quite right, and then this happened.
